Department of Orthopaedics

The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at SHKM GMC, Nalhar is a well equipped department providing full time, state of the art facilities to a large population of Mewat and adjoining area. It is a high standard tertiary referral centre specially for highway and neglected trauma.The department is providing daily good quality Out Patient consultation which is increasing gradually. Twice weekly CTEV clinic is being held in the OPD for the children. The In Patient services include a committed bed strength of 60 with additional beds in emergency ward and Surgical ICU.

Apart from clinical and surgical care, our department is involved in research, documentation and conducts CMEs for updating the current concepts. The faculty frequently attends and present papers in various academic conferences.

The mission of the department is to provide high quality patient care and also to impart high quality medical education in Orthopaedics to the undergraduates and to the expected coming postgraduates.
