Department of General Medicine is located in the hospital building at 5 th floor. During the last twelve years, the department has shown exponential growth in volume of the high quality patient care and training a large number of Indian medical graduates, many of who are now leaders in their own right both in India and abroad. The department occupies a unique position with regard to the highly technical and specialized nature of health care delivery for complex medical disorders both in terms of quality and quantity.
Outdoor services from Monday to Saturday during 9AM to 4 PM.
Indoor services comprising of four general wards with 150 beds capacity.
Critical care services for seriously ill patients in well equipped ICU.
Cardiac care services for patients with heart diseases in well equipped ICCU.
24*7 medical emergency services.
Running ART centre for HIV/AIDS patients under NACP.
Providing diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with hepatitis B and hepatitis C free of cost under NVHCP.
Providing patients care under Ayushman Bharat Government scheme.
The department imparts training in the MBBS courses (120 students admission per year)
The department imparts training in the DNB post graduation courses (02 students admission per year
